Stone also wrote Shake Rattle and Roll and contributed to Flip Flop and Fly for Big Joe Turner - this was also Bill Haley's first hit before Rock Around the Clock. Money Honey, by Jesse Stone released Sept 1953 by Clyde McPhatter backed for the first time by the newly formed Drifters. McPhatter's voice, but not his name, well-known as the lead singer for Billy Ward & the Dominoes. Elvis recorded Money Honey for RCA early in 1956.
